  Please click one of the following "FTP" (File Transport Protocol) links to download iMarvel.   The download size is about 800,000 bytes.  It takes about 3-5 minutes to download the program with a 28.8K modem.

  IBM-Compatible installation program.
  Macintosh Stuffit archive.


  If you don't know how to download and install programs, visit Newbie-U and read their article on how to use FTP.  If you need any help with iMarvel, visit the chat room for iMarvel.  Tech support is usually available there in the daytime on weekdays.

 iMarvel Installation

  IBM users: After you've fully downloaded the executable program imarvel.exe  to your computer, simply run the program to install iMarvel.  When you're done, point your browser to C:\starbase7\imsetup.htm to start iMarvel.  Some browsers may require a different URL address, such as file:///C|/starbase7/imsetup.htm.

  Macintosh users: create a "\starbase7" directory on your hard disk and unstuff the archive there.  The URL address for Macintosh computers is usually
file:///Macintosh%20HD/starbase7/imsetup.htm.  If that doesn't work, find the "imsetup.htm" file on your computer, then drag-and-drop it onto the browser icon.  The correct URL should then appear in the address bar.

 Customization

  If you'd like to build your own customized iMarvel  page with your choice of Wizards, two methods are available:

• All Computers: Try the Create Your Own iMarvel page.  You can choose which Wizards you want, and customize them to meet your own needs.
  
  
• IBM PC: There is a program in the archive you just downloaded called "marvel.exe" that allows you to customize many features of iMarvel.  It gives you mroe customization options, but it might not be an easy program to understand and use.  More information about this program is available in the iMarvel manual.
