Cut-And-Paste Content

You can easily cut and paste any iMarvel Wizard into any web page you own.  The content is updated regularly by us, so you don't have to do anything to maintain it.  We are happy to do this, the more so because iMarvel.com gets some good exposure.  All we ask is that you keep the help button () on the Wizard.  When people click on it, a separate window appears that explains how to use the Wizard.
There's no charge or fee of any kind for the use of these Wizards on your site.  None of these Wizards use JavaScript or cookies.  The Wizards are all dark in color, so they'll look best on a dark background.  If you use a light background for your pages, you may want to edit the Wizards to lighten their color.
  Simply take these steps:
  1. Click on one of the following links:
      Business Wizard
Calendar Wizard (Calendar graphic updated daily)
Consumer Tips Wizard (Updated daily by 3:00 PM PDT)
      Control Pad Wizard
      Directory Wizard (text)
      Directory Wizard (pictorial)
      Favorites Wizard
Personal Finance Wizard (Headline and interest rate updated daily by 3:00 PM PDT)
Investing Wizard (Investing headline updated twice per weekday, 9 AM and 3:00 PM PDT)
Internet Traffic Wizard (Updated every 15 minutes by InternetTrafficReport.com)
      Jukebox Wizard
      eMail Wizard
      Mall Wizard
      Memo Pad Wizard
Newspaper Wizard (Headlines updated several times per day)
      Radio Wizard
      Search Wizard
Sports Scoreboard Wizard (Scores updated 4 times per day)
      Television Wizard
Weather Wizard (Loads current time and temperature, courtesy of Wunderground.com.)

  2. Select all the HTML  text in the box.  This can be done by clicking the Select All button on that web page.  Another way is to click on the upper left of the box, hold down the Shift key and move the cursor downwards with the down-arrow key.

  3. Cut it from the page.  On most computers, this is done by pressing Ctrl-C (hold down the Ctrl key and press C.)

  4. Paste it into your web page editor.  Usually, this is done with Ctrl-V. Another way is to find the Paste option on the menu of the editor.

If you use FrontPage to paste Wizards, you may experience problems because FrontPage encodes certain items in the link code.  You can avoid this problem by following these steps:

    1. Open the FrontPage page editor for the page you want to edit.
    2. Choose Insert from the main menu.
    3. Select FrontPage Component. A dialog box appears.
    4. Choose Insert HTML. A dialog box appears.
    5. Paste the code here.
    6. Click OK.

NOTE: If you do this with FrontPage, the Wizard will not appear in the FrontPage editor, and will only appear after you preview or publish.

  5. You may want to customize the Wizard to suit your tastes. For example, in the Weather Wizard you may want to replace "Seattle" with your home town, "WA" with your state, and "SEA" with your 3-letter airport code.
